50+ Ticks, No Home, and He Still Just Wanted to Be Loved

This Is Why Donations Matter

We found this sweet boy roaming the streets, absolutely covered in ticks — we removed close to 50 of them from his body.

He was timid when we first approached him, but it didn't take long for him to realize we were there to help. We gave him fresh water, some love, and removed as many ticks as we could.

And through all of it, he was so sweet.

Why We Need Supplies on Hand

Dogs like him are exactly why Ender's Wish Foundation needs flea and tick prevention, food, medical supplies, and other basic necessities readily available. When we come across an animal who needs help, we don't want to have to say, "We don't have it."

Every donation helps us keep supplies on hand so we can help the next dog we find — whether he needs a meal, fresh water, parasite prevention, veterinary care, or simply someone to stop and care.

Someone Cared

He may not have had a home that night. But for a little while, he knew someone cared.
